MELANCHOLIA MY MOTHER is a concept album imagined and produced by Gabriel and Emmanuel Michaud.

It is also a film, an oniric journey giving a new dimension to the music (full movie available on Youtube).

The album takes its inspiration in djent, symphonic, ambient and minimalist music. It mixes bass guitar, marimba and midi instruments.

Gabriel, born 2003, studies drums in Nantes Conservatory.
Emmanuel, born 1997, studies arts in the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin (Mulhouse).

MELANCHOLIA MY MOTHER Nantes, France

Emmanuel Michaud (born 1997) is a master student in Art School (HEAR, Mulhouse, France). He practiced classical music, jazz, rock, modern metal and experimental music.

Gabriel Michaud (born 2003) studies and practices music in Nantes Conservary. Playing drums, marimba, vibraphone and piano, he mixes lots of differents influences such as jazz, metal or trap. ... more
